I can stream all installed Steam and non-Steam games when straight launching Steam on my HTPC but for some reason it won't work through the Steam program addon through SuperRepo - it claims the shortcut isn't available.PlayStation 4 has been Sony’s most popular console and it all stems from its ability to provide a unique gaming experience. Now I just need to figure out how I to launch my non-Steam games added to Steam through Steam's in-home streaming through SuperRepo's Steam addon for Kodi (Steam both in Big Picture Mode and not). It's been working well ever since! I just power up my system and hold the PS button to turn it on and DS4 auto connects to it. I paired the controller with my system and boom, it paired and DS4 automatically recognized it an auto set the profile like I had previously configured. I had my smartphone paired via Bluetooth which I deleted. After I wrote that comment the other day I went home and charged my PS4 controller to try this out again. I'll keep that in mind and see what my system says about those options. I'll report back if anything interesting happens. If I'm feeling lucky I may actually try this one more time before I totally give up on it. It's a bummer though, I really like the PS controllers, and I really liked being able to use the PS4 controller specifically connected to my PC's bluetooth card. At this point I'm so frustrated and lost I'm about to cut my losses and sell my PS4 controller and just buy a Steam controller. I even tried reinstalling my bluetooth drivers to see if that would get it to work. Windows 10 didn't require the Xbox controller drivers to be downloaded, but otherwise I tried reinstalling it the same way as when I got it to work on Windows 7. This time though, it doesn't work connected via USB. Windows thinks it's paired in bluetooth settings. DS4Windows displays the bluetooth icon as if it's connected, but it doesn't show the controller, the mac address, or anything like that. The PS4 flashes like it's going to connect but then it just turns off. So I charge it up, hit the power button, same old thing. Just a few weeks ago I tried my PS4 controller again. I stopped playing any games for a while since my work picked up, I didn't have much time to play. I thought to myself, well I'm glad that issue solved itself, must have been some weird Windows 7 thing. Everything was working well! For about two weeks. Reinstalled DS4Windows, paired the PS4 controller, imported all my previous profiles and settings. I ended up doing the free update to Windows 10. I swear I checked this a month ago and there were no replies. I'm running Windows 7 Pro SP1 using a pcie bluetooth 4.0/wifi card that came with my motherboard (I'm hardlined though I only use the bluetooth, not the wifi). It's a new build so I don't have anything saved to it anyway. For what it's worth I used it until it died last night, then shut down and left it plugged in to charge.ĭoes anyone know what could be going on? Is something possibly interfering with my bluetooth connection? Maybe DS4 drivers aren't working somehow? It worked fine for weeks and now suddenly it doesn't.Īt this point I'm about to reinstall Windows or something because I don't get it. It works just fine over USB, but same problem with the profiles drop down menu missing. Windows does it's connection sound like it's connected as well. DS4Windows even reports "Controller 1 is using profile "steam" at the bottom of the window. The Bluetooth logo shows as if it was connected, but the device ID and the profiles drop down menu aren't shown. DS4Windows thinks it's connected when it isn't. I even tried pressing the reset button underneath the controller and that also has seemingly done nothing. When I press the PS button the controller flashes white a few times and turns off - this is basically all it does now. When I pair the DS4, Windows says it's successful but the controller appears to be off (no lights). I've tried pairing it again (many times), installing/uninstalling Xbox drivers/DS4 Drivers/DS4Windows, enabling/disabling HID drivers - nothing has worked. I've now been messing around with it for hours and cannot get it to connect again. Usually I just hold the PS button to turn it on and it automatically connects in a few seconds. Today I turned on my system and the DS4 controller won't connect anymore.
